The Stellaris: Console Edition Utopia DLC expansion is set to drop sometime in Summer 2019. Thats the patch that will soon become 2.2.2. While already significant, these are only the first in a long list of changes the developers have planned for Stellaris. The specifics for how the open beta will run will be discussed in future dev diaries. Representing a massive expansion to the base game, the Utopia expansion for Stellaris: Console Edition brings new Megastructures, Habitat Stations and Advanced Government policies among a raft of other sizable changes to the core Stellaris experience. Right-click the game in Steam, select Properties, then the Betas tab, then select stellaristest. With the help of user input, the new systems and mechanics can be tested out before launching with the 3.3 update. The Stellaris: Console Edition Multiplayer DLC is slated to release on May 21, 2019. Pretty much doing what it says on the tin, the Stellaris: Console Edition multiplayer DLC allows players to co-operate in their quest to conquer the galaxy, or, face each other as adversaries. The Stellaris: Console Edition Leviathans DLC is set tor release on April 16, 2019.
Among the new features promised by this expansion are the Guardians, super powerful space entities whom possess extraordinary technology that you can use for your own ends and War in Heaven a titanic battle that pits two ancient empires against each other, forcing you to choose a side or take advantage of the conflict and strike out on your own.
